We believe in one God who exists in three distinct yet equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is both historically and currently referred to as the “Trinity”.
We believe the second person of the Trinity, Jesus the Messiah, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was born of the Virgin Mary. This virgin birth was essential for Jesus to be more than just a man, but to be the very Son of God, thereby having both the authority (which is by God), and the right (which is by man), to become the sacrifice for the sins of the world. He thereby was able to pay the just penalty for sin as required by the holiness of God.
We believe that Jesus was crucified to death, was buried, and after three days and three nights, was gloriously and powerfully resurrected physically as the first-fruits from the dead. After forty days He ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession to God for the saints, the Church universal.
We believe in the physical and imminent return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, and this return to be soon. While this ministry believes and teaches the premillennial position concerning Christ’s reign, we acknowledge this is not a salvation issue, and allow for others to hold differing views with no need for the breaking of fellowship.
We believe the 66 canonical books of the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, and that this Bible is the final authority in all things to which it speaks. While the Bible does not contain all truth, all it does contain is truth.
We believe salvation is by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, and not of any personal works done by man. Christ died not for His own sin, but for the sins of all men, and salvation is available to all who will repent of sin, believe on the resurrected Christ as Savior and Lord, and profess their faith before men. This act of salvation, known as justification, will of necessity be followed by good works, known as sanctification, which will conform one to the image of Christ, as ordained by the Father.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. At the time of conversion He indwells the believer, and bestows spiritual gifts to those born again for the purpose of ministry to both the Church and to the world. It is through the Holy Spirit that the believer can live a holy and victorious life over sin, and understand the revealed mysteries of God found in His Word.
