- Though Light of Life has an official position (as stated in our Statement of Faith), “we acknowledge this is not a salvation issue, and allow for others to hold differing views with no need for the breaking of fellowship.” However, we do believe there are Five Prophetic Fundamentals (also called the Five Non-Negotiables) that cannot be disputed and they determine the orthodoxy of one’s theology concerning the Second Coming of Jesus. They are: the literal physical return of Jesus Christ (referred to as the Second Advent); the resurrection of all mankind from the dead; the final judgment at the coming of Christ; the eternal reward for the righteous – Heaven; and the eternal punishment for the wicked – Hell.
